Don't like the post at all. The Senior Committee is important as it gives the voters the benefit of hindsight. 5 years after the fact is at times too soon to appreciate one player's legacy. Dave Wilcox, for example, was voted in through the Senior committee. Wilcox didn't have the name of Dick Butkus or the Super Bowl wins of Jack Lambert, but he played at their level. It's a review process that says maybe we left some deserving individuals out.
