Something had to be done as it was pretty clear that the team just wasn't picking up what Ward was putting down. I wonder if ownership stepped in and made this call as Ward was Treliving's pick and he gave him a 2 year contract to coach the Flames. As I posted in another thread, this team seems to respond to hard ass coaches thus at first look, this looks like it could work. Just keep Sutter away from being the GM lol
