Yeah, Pardy looks like he will miss significant time...TJ Brodie has been sent down to Abbotsford as well.

Flames are also getting healthier (Bourque is travelling with the team, may play Thursday in Detroit). At some point, the Flames will have to shed some salary (approximately 3.5 million). I only bring this up because Staios makes 2.7 million and Sarich makes 3.6 million.

Edit: I think this may put the Flames at the 50 contract limit as well (between Calgary and Abbotsford).

He's okay. The Ducks have shuttled Mikkelson between the big club & the minors for a couple of years now. Considering how bad the Ducks D has been to start the year I would think they need all the defenseman they can get, especially with the loss of Sutton. However with Lydman healthy & the signing of Lilja they're a bit better. I also think the Ducks believed Mikkelson would clear waivers.
