he wouldn't have amounted to squat in cincy............he's damn lucky

we can not coach them or help their careers in any way.......Al davis has passed us by. We are the worst, most pathetic, excuse for expensive entertainment ever. We can draft 'can't miss' players and fail. We were built to fail. Blow it up.....move the team....enough

Is that S from LSU draft eligible this year? I think he's a sophomore, but did he redshirt? I'm too lazy to look it up.

The flaw in this thread is the notion that Fitzpatrick would have actually been good for the Bengals. On the contrary, he likely would have continued to display the same suckage he did in 2008.

The real sad part is how players leave the Bengals, and once they rid themselves of the stench, they get better.

Fitzpatrick
Justin Smith
Ahmad Brooks

to name a few.

Well, you have to land somewhere and actually play semi-significant minutes in order to be considered. Unfortunately, some players - a la Ghuicic - are never able to shake the stink off.

Tyrann Mathieu is the kid's name. He actually is a true sophomore, so not draft eligible.

Problem with turnstile Ghiaciuc is he showed up with a stench.....playing for the Bengals simply augmented his suckage......

Fitz in this offense would have been nice....he wasnt suited for Brats down field offense......

There still are complaints about down field throws in Buffalo from fans....

Hold on Kramer. I seem to remember you talking about how much Fitz sucked when he played in Cincy. Something about him never being a successful NFL QB. Now that he is doing good, you try and say the opposite? You can't play both sides of the fence.

Andre Smith instead of the plethora of excellent defensive players in 2009. Could have got a better O-Lineman in the 2nd round instead of going for high risk/high reward. The Bengals could have Orakpo, Clay Mathews, or Raji and Max Unger instead of Smith and Maualuga.

My guess is there are a plethora of intelligent college players every year that won't even talk to the Bengals.

Fitzpractice was terrible. I think he sold his soul to the real devil or something. Good for him.

For your entertainment purposes, I asked the online ouiji board (sponsered by iwon.com toolbar) if Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick sold his soul to the devil and it said "YES"
