This series is the 2014 Western conference finals compared to the Avs-Kings series.

The Vegas Golden Knights' national anthem tradition ("Gave proof through the KNIGHTS") was also done by the International Hockey League's (IHL) Atlanta Knights, who played from 1992 to 1996. The Atlanta Knights were also responsible for one of my favorite mascot mishaps, as seen here:

Yet when an Italian cafe in Toronto did the same thing (turn in your Italian jersey for a Canadian jersey) for the World Cup this summer, several butthurt Italian fans were ripping them and Canada Soccer as well. As it turned out, it was just a way for people to get Canadian jerseys, they were able to keep their Italian jerseys.
