This certainly has been a nip and tuck year. A lot of games that required Rolaids. None the less, it appears that the AFC is pretty much settled due to a couple of games.

None of these games are officially over, but according to the way things are going.....

Jaguars decided to mail in the final game and the Titans are playing for their playoff lives. Titans are kicking more field goals than the Jags and it looks like the Titans will pull this one out. That eliminates the Bills and Chargers. The Ravens have a chicken bone in their throat but the Titans will do them a favor and keep the playoff door open for them.

The playoff ratings

1. New England
2. Pittsburgh
3. Jacksonville
4. Kansas City
5. Baltimore
6. Tennessee

Wild Card will be...

Tennessee @ Jacksonville
Baltimore @ Kansas City

Divisional Games will be

Lowest Remaining Seed (Kansas City) @ New England
Highest Remaining Seed (Jacksonville) @ Pittsburgh

It'll be a two week wait and I'm expecting to see the Kansas City Chiefs coming to Foxboro to close out their season. I expect the Patriots to come out fast and hard and put this away early in the 3rd quarter. Nothing like a little revenge served cold. BB will have a very large set of munbers spray painted on the locker room wall....42-17. The first game of the season celebrating the unveiling of the Super Bowl LI Banner was an embarrassment and I believe that the Patriots will salve that wound.

As far as the Steelers and Jags are concerned, I'm really not sure which Jaguar team will show up in Pittsburgh. The Steelers will have the weather advantage and that should be enough.

Steelers-Patriots II in Foxboro???

I was wrong. Ravens choked. Bills are in. Your KC visit might be right.

I just had to drive across town in the freeze (1 degree) and heard that the Bills are in. I'm still trying to get the seedings. I think the Titans are #5 and the Bills are #6. Can you imagine if the Bills upset the Chiefs and came to Foxboro for Round 3??

The only team the Pats can't host is Jacksonville and the only team that Pittsburgh can't host is Buffalo.

I honestly think both games are toss ups. We could see Buffalo, KC or Tennessee.

I'm taking Buffalo over Jax. Flipping a coin on Tn. vs KC.

Then Buffalo will be in Foxboro for the Division Playoff. With Buffalo it's McCoy. Shut bhim down and Taylor has to throw. Keep him in the pocket and that's game.

Jacksonville...contain the running game and keep Bortles in the pocket

Tenn.....Make Marriota move and keep him uncomfortable and he'll throw to the defense.

KC........Double team Hill and pressure Smith. make him make mistakes throwing or holding the ball too long.
Contain hunt to short yardage. It's a three person offense.

My gut tells me that Jacksonville will crush Buffalo and Tennessee will upset Kansas City.

Jaguars go to Pittsburgh and the Titans go to Foxboro.

I have a premonition that the Jaguars will beat Pittsburgh and play the Patriots in the AFCCG. That game will be January 21 and the forecast is for sleet and ice with temps 28 on Saturday and rain with high temp of 39 on Sunday.

We'll see Buffalo in 2 weeks....let's hope Gillmore can learn how to cover Benjamin. McCoy could just be coming back from an ankle injury. Gonna be nice to get guys back, esp Van Noy, Hogan, Branch.

Tom Brady is practicing.

Mike Gillislee (knee) and Eric Lee (ankle) are the only players missing from practice. Alan Branch and Rex Burkhead returned after extended absences. It looks like Trevor Reilly might’ve taken Bernard Reedy’s spot on the practice squad.

Well, that was a hell of a game...........Titans 22 Chiefs 21.................

The Jags/Bills games will be interesting now. I still thinks the Bills will have to play their absolute best A Game to pull it off.

Time for the falcons/Rams.

The underdogs are having a great weekend. There was a lot of vomiting in Kansas City and Los Angeles last night.

I was watching the NFL Network this morning and everyone in Jacksonville was wearing heavy overcoats and gloves. First time I've ever seen the weather in Florida favoring a team from snow country.
