True....kind of makes you wonder why caddies have had to battle for every dime when the player purses have done nothing but escalate....even thru the recession they never went down.

a very large percentage of PGA players don't make a ton of money... and caddies see a small percentage of that.

Idk about very lg %, but relative to other pro sports I tend to agree. IDK exactly how many guys have tour cards (maybe 250?) but to keep your card...gotta bank about 850k these days.

Caddies make 10% of a win....aside from that I think it's up to the player but there has to be a "market rate" I would think...back when he was winning a ton, Tiger's caddy was on salary, reportedly well into six figures to a million dollars.

I would think, if your player is making it to the Tour Championship (top 30) those caddies are driving nice cars, eating top shelf surf and turf whenever they want. Top 80-125 caddies...maybe once a month @ Longhorn...lol.
