Thank God for the Win. We have to give props to our defense who kept us in this game. I don't know where to start on our offense. WOW. Is it the play calling or RG3? The one bright spot I saw was Helu. He is an complete back. I hope Morris is ok. The special teams were horrendous today. Almost blew the game. The Raiders fake punt, how can you not prepare for that. Is Thompson afraid to catch the ball on punts?

Two weeks to prepare for the Cowboys. Dallas should lose against Denver. Our game in two weeks should be for 1st place in the East. We are not dead yet.

Dean, you are right, its great to have a win and we can thank our defense. As far as the offense, I think its both the play calling and RG3. He may be physically healed, but he is not the same player yet that he was last year. We just have to give him time.

Our STs coach needs to be crucified. As soon has I saw them changing formation on the 4th down play, I'm screaming time out! Time Out!..What the fuck was our coaching staff thinking? Also we need to get Thompson out of there on returns. He is so bad that he just stopped fielding punts in the 2nd half, he just let them bounce.

I agree with you on the ST. I was screaming TO also. Our special teams coach as no experience as a ST coach. I wouldn't mind firing him. They just looked unprepared. The Danny Smith Loss is catching up to us.

RG3 just doesn't look good to me at all. He is playing erratic. The bomb to Moss which was a awful call on 3rd and 3 in the 4th qtr up by 3 should of been completed. Moss had two yards on the guy. He totally missed him. You have to make that throw to consider yourself a good NFL QB. Plus, just other throws when he is scrambling don't make sense to me. His best play of the game was the escape then throw to Helu for a big gain. The play where Helu leaped over the guy. I thought that was the offensive play of the game. I think that was 3rd down.

RGIII has not been himself. He made some strides on this game. My favorite play was where he escaped the rush and threw the ball to Helu, in which he did his hurdle. I hate how he missed Santana Moss, who was a few yards ahead of his man. I believe this bye is a blessing in disguise. The win couldn't have come at a better time. Now, the team can get themselves together and try to come back strong.

Because rg3 is not himself, the read option crap isn't going to work. Teams will key on the rb every time, until rg3 gets his speed back. It's stupid.

Also stupid: how incredibly long it took Kyle Shanahan to figure out that running the option plays to the right side, where the raiders defensive end was abusing Polumbus all game long, was a bad idea.

The redskins won, but only because they knocked out McFadden, and the backup rb, and flynn is awful.

The problem RG3 is facing right now is one of mechanics. He was unable to properly practice the mechanics of the position in the offseason and these mechanics do not come natural to him. Many of his throws are flying high because he's not coming down on his front leg properly and he's not getting as much on some throws because he's not setting his feet and is falling back.

I agree & hopefully they use the next two weeks wisely. The only exception would be some of the mental mistakes. The intentional grounding from yesterday was ridiculous - straight out of sandlot (especially since the same basic thing happened in a previous game). He needs to have a complete understanding of the rules & how to adjust his game accordingly. Some of the physical mistakes for this team are understandable, but they have to start minimizing the mental ones.

The defense played good, we got 7 sacks which is good, special teams are bad and the offense and the play calling has to get better..we just have to take one game at a time baby steps.
