Final Keeper

In a H2H categories, dynasty league, who should be my 12th & final keeper among the following. It's a 20-team league.

Matt Wieters, Mike Zunino, Kolten Wong, Matt Holliday, Rajai Davis, Drew Smyly, Jeremy Hellickson.

Yikes. Smyly, easily. Holliday number two, I guess. Maybe Zunino. Maybe Hellickson...20 team league, pitching must be mighty thin. Maybe Wong for eligibility and youth? Not a big fan of his. Smyly for sure, imo.

I am slowly learning to like him... I had him on one of my fantasy teams before the breakout last season... Didn't see him play much so I don't know HOW good he is... But I have heard he has one of the more nasty pitches in baseball right now...

Pitching depth is extremely important... In weekly lineup changes, you will have more 2 start pitchers... In daily lineup changes, you can play matchups better...

Of course all depends on your league, how many pitchers you start, whether you have an innings limit... But generally the more pitchers you start the better your counting stats will be... Even in points leagues, the more pitchers you start the more opportunity for points you have...

Also, pitchers get hurt more than position players...

Actually in my 30 team 10 keeper league I kept wieters over hellickson. Might be a mistake. But thought if one player can be top half at his position, wieters has the better shot.

Again, in this situation, hard to argue. Be worth it if he stayed upright for a full season.
