Ray was a corn farmer from Iowa who grew up in California..just trying to find his way..a farmer in America..the good ole' USA..Ray went about his way..tending to the soil that would sprout his corn..never knowing what he was in for. One day in the middle of his corn patch he heard a voice..it came from the sky it whispered like the voice of God. The voice said ..If you build it he will come ..Ray looked around and his corn lit up..a baseball field with lights ..what a thrill. Ray did what the voice said ..plowed under his corn..built a field like the one he had scene..it felt like a beautiful dream..it was his...

Corn where the fences should be

One night a ballplayer appeared..in some old White Sox gear

Joe Jackson was his name..and baseball was his game

The Field of Dreams is for all the dreamers..come one ..come all..to enjoy the beautiful game of baseball

A ghost from baseball's past..Joe Jackson just wanted a second chance

He stepped out from the corn..walked out onto his field of joy

Joe asked if he could bring some friends..Ray said everyone is welcome anytime ,,any day

Old players gone from the past played..played the game they loved each day

Ray was willing to take the chance..he almost lost his farm..he never backed down

One day Ray heard the voice again..this time it said ,,ease his pain..

Ray set out to find a Man named Mann..a writer from the 60's..who wrote about love and peace

This time they both heard the voice..to go the distance..so they rode on

They traveled the land and found a old ballplayer named Moonlight Graham

They all hit the highway...came back to the ..

Back in Iowa ..Graham and all the boys played ball..but there was so much more

Moonlight had his day in a baseball uniform again..but a doctor was his true calling

Saved Ray's daughter who had choked on a hotdog

As Doc Graham disappeared into the corn filed..Mann the writer was asked to join the players to go with them..

Ray got mad..but it was not meant for him to go there

In the end Ray met the man in pain ..his dad..who had idolized Joe Jackson..and Ray had welcomed him back..Ray's dad had passed away ..both men had not seen things eye to eye before he died..as his dad took off the catchers mask they played catch..as the summer sun set.
