Wife is being transferred to Hays, KS. Probably make the move around Oct 1. We're heading down to take a look around the area this weekend. The hotel doesn't have BTN so I have to watch the game on BTN2Go. That better work.

Not thrilled about leaving the Motherland, but at least there is some prime fishing in the area. Also not real thrilled about having to make 4 trips just to haul of our stuff. Camper, boat, tool trailer and the moving truck.

If you BTN2Go it, just HDMI it from your computer to your tv.

Sign in to BTN2GO with your current provider. It doesn't matter where you are as long as your provider (here in the motherland) carries BTN.

I did it when I was in Oklahoma last May and it worked like a champ.

We have BTN but our provider does not have access to BTN2GO, so I have my son's login, plus his buddy gave me his login as well.

The Residence Inn I stayed at had an HDMI input on it's room tv, so I went over to walmart and picked up a 12 footer for $10. You can get a 25 footer for $15.

Call down there and ask. If they don't have the input on their tv's, I'd take one of my own TVs down. I assume you've got a 27" flat screen in a spare room.

Can't be missing Husker football.

No Dish Network...I called recently about upgrading and in order to get BTN I'd need to upgrade a tier and add a sports package. In all, it ended up being like 50 bucks extra per month, which roughly doubles my TV/internet bill for the month and I can't afford to do that.

First off Tom, I'm sincerely sorry to hear you have to go to Hays, KS for any reason lol. If all else fails, find a sports bar or something similar and ask them to put the Huskers game on the TV. I was in McPherson, KS last year with a group of parents from my daughter's volleyball team and we wanted to watch the Husker game at the bowling alley/sports bar and many additional folks came into the room just to watch the game. For the price of a meal and drinks most bars can be accommodating.

If the hotel has wifi you could watch it on your lap top at USA goals or First row sports.
