Does anyone still watch this? Talking Dead recorded last night. I haven't watched FTWD since (I think) season two.

I see the fucking Gimp (Chill) is still alive on the show. Absolutely ridiculous. No G in a chair is surviving long in that world. I'd giv'em an hour.

He is a bit of a ridiculous character. All the work required just to get him in and out of the truck would get him or someone on his crew killed many times over. And the number of times they have him doing menial tasks on the road (like dropping off the goodie box on the side of the road) is just stupid. “Let’s turn this r5 second task into a 45 minute task by getting this dude out of the truck, into his chair, hand him the box to place at the sign post, get him back into the truck, store his chair...

I like Chill Mitchell. I thought he was hilarious before his accident. In the right role, he can be great. This isn’t the right situation.

I finally watched the first half of the season this week. I see I haven't missed much discussion on here.

My God was in ever a struggle to stay awake at times. It seems like there might have been an interesting story in there but there was just way too much filler.

The main cast is starting to get bigger than I think it's ever been. By "main cast" I guess I mean all the named characters that are now part of that group. Quite a few were added. Speaking of which, I don't think a single character (major, minor, or extra) died in that half-season. We got back-stories that involved characters losing people but that's it, unless I'm forgetting someone.

Althea and her quest for the story is so annoying. I get it that is her passion but it's a bit over the top in my opinion. The character is alright otherwise. I'm assuming her new crush will re-appear on one of the 2 shows or Rick's movie, maybe some combination of the 3.

The entire show is filler. There is no meat whatsoever to the show (I would add “anymore”, but I don’t think there ever was in the first place)

They need a villian on the show and they just don't have one.

Then you have the newest spin-off coming next spring which involves kids growing up in the ZA.

Season 5 marathon goin' on today. I missed the first two eps, but I'm watchin' the one where John and June meet Dwight. So far, it doesn't totally suck.

Well, I must say, any episode with the Barber is a good one.

My vision of a perfect ending? Ruben Blades resumes his Barber role one final time and ends it all.:nod::nod:

So why didn’t they roll under the gate at the urgent care center when the alarms went off. They are behind a security gate that they can stab through. Thin the herd while safe and as the walkers fall, they create more protection.

Nope. Instead, let’s run away from our target and get ourselves into a dangerous bottleneck situation.

Just so I don't have to go back and re-watch old episodes, can someone remind me why Alicia stopped killing zombies for a while? That story line with her and Wes and his trees was so lame. Also did she not get exposed to the radiation too? If so, do any of the other characters know about that?

She now has radioactive super-powers:

Alicia has partaken of the zombie blood.

Now that I think of it, Morgan is like, reprimanding Strand to NOT kill any Walkers 'cause the blood will infect. "We've seen what that does!"

Really? I missed this ep.

However, Alicia didn't get the memo.
