I've been a Beatles fan since I was a kid. My older brother was into them so I would listen to his records when he wasn't around. John is my favorite Beatle as I think he was the more creative writer. But when I think of my favorite Beatles song, it always comes back to Paul.

Favorite song-Hey Jude

Any other Beatles fans here? :D

George Harrison was the best songwriter, imho.

1) While My Guitar Gently Weeps
2) Here Comes the Sun

I also quite enjoyed "Rocky Raccoon". And "Let it Be" was the song that taught me that you really can create a kick-ass solo using just a pentatonic scale, so I always enjoy listening to that one.

I am the Walrus (by far)

Greatest lyrics of all time. And "Paul, he's really dead" controversy thrown in for fun

Great song, but I prefer the Jeff Healey cover to the Beatles version.

/RIP John, George, and Jeff

Sort of funny but OT story. Late 80's or early 90's i went to see Colin James at the Metropol in Pittsburgh. Me and my buddy were up on the 2nd floor and during his set, (what we thought was a drunk guy) was sort of stumbling onto the stage. Security/roadies were all around him and we were waiting to see him thrown off of the stage. Then we realized they were helping him. Turns out it was Jeff Healey. He came out and played a few songs with him. It was one of the coolest shows i ever saw.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to see the Jeff Healey band a couple of times (he played the University of Calgary and the Jack Singer Concert Hall) and both shows were fantastic.
