I wish i knew more about this... I also think when it comes to projections like this i would love to use WAR instead of how many top 100 players a team has... Prospects is the only time i actually value stength of position played... I would rather have a top catching prospect than a top first base prospect!!!

The Future Is Now: Top Farm Systems Poised To Deliver Near-Term Value - BaseballAmerica.com

A strange but simple point system given for specific prospect ranks...

1) Boston - 122.2
2) Houston - 111.2
3) San Diego - 110.8
4) Texas - 104.6
5)(t) Chi Cubs - 98.2
5)(t) Kansas City - 98.2
.
.
.
26) Oakland - 44.3
27) LA Angles - 43.0
28) Baltimore - 32.4
29) Detroit - 29.4
30) Milwaukee - 26.6

A good read, if you take it for what it is...

We all know that STL's farm system would be top 2 if it weren't for the fact that most of their prospects are on the roster for game 6 of the World Series.

Really would like to see some of those SP prospects pan out for KC. Wade Davis and Luis Mendoza are a no-no on any legit rotation.
