Two first rounders for Sauce. Is he worth that much?

Seems like he's always hurt.

dats a spicey meatball..big move for a deadline deal

I think I like it more for Jets than Colts actually. Not sure indy was one guy away but it was a huge need for them.

I could see opposing QBs just targeting the hell out of the other side of the field vs Indy now

If there's one thing you can count on these days, it's Jerry overreacting to a good or bad performance in a prime time matchup

well I don't think it's an over reaction..it's a definitive need.....however...these moves are not turning that defense into anything that'll make the playoffs, let alone push for a SB. They should not be buying, period. Id' rather use that 1st round pick in the draft than rent a 28year old DT who used to terrorize QB's, but hasn't lately

Smart for the Jets and will get more picks (mid-round picks) once they sell off the rest of the guys.

2027 draft could be loaded

Per Shefty, Breece Hall wants in on the Jets purge... he's got about 40 minutes left

This is incorrect. He won't be a FA until 2028.

Personally, I think this is a nice trade for Jerra.

They still have two #1s next year, and one should be pretty low.

And they got rid of that lump, Mazi.

Cowboys acquired DT Quinnen Williams from the Jets for DT Mazi Smith, a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick.
Williams is notably not Micah Parsons, but if for some reason you can’t have Parsons, he’s probably on the short list of defensive line stars in the league. He’s a star run defender — something we seem to recall the Cowboys needing — by virtue of splash plays. Williams has only one sack this year, but the Jets have not held many leads and Williams does have 23.5 sacks in his past seasons. The Jets star defender has 1.5 years remaining on a four-year, $96 million extension signed in 2023. So the Cowboys will make sure to have someone with an expiring contract distraction on the roster in 2026, as nature abhors a vacuum. The Jets are now a conceptual football team, the closest thing we’ve seen to one since the Sashi Brown Browns anyway. So from that standpoint, Mazi Smith, a theoretical defensive tackle, is a great addition.

Other than Breece, what do they have left??
Hell, I'll take Breece!!

I was actuall thinking OL, but then I realized the Jets OL is probably even worse than ours.

The Deadline has passed.

I say at least 2 or 3 more trades go through.
