Any idiot who thinks Tim Lincecum is somehow different from other elite pitchers because he goes through subpar stretches is, well, an idiot.

I think you are giving these "idiots" too much credit.

Do you actually think they think?

Now, to be fair, is it worth noticing when Timmeh falls into these funks and is there cause for concern? Sure. But only to an extent. Timmeh is elite, but he is also human.

Totally agree. But the point is EVERY elite pitcher is human, and the shatters getting on Timmy are too blind and self-absorbed to see that's just how pitching works.

I do hope he pitches awesome tonight to shut everyone up.
