• FL Network's Ian Rapoport reports an MRI revealed a torn MCL for Kyle Pitts.​

  Initially reported as an MCL sprain prior to Monday's MRI, it now appears that Pitts may need to undergo surgery if the ligament is indeed torn. According to Rapoport, Pitts will seek a second opinion before deciding what to do next, but it sounds like he's nearing an extended absence in light of the recent news. Through 10 games, Pitts has totaled 28 receptions for 356 yards and two touchdowns while ranking second on the Falcons with 59 targets. His absence would be a notable one for an already thin receiver group.

What has really stood out to me about Dfoe is he is a willing tackler. Hard to find those guys with the "want to" and he has it.

I for one would like to see more 2-3 TE sets. I know hard to do with so many injured TE's but Thomas, Bates & Turner are healthy. But you could go 3 TE's with TH and 2 splits but use motion with any one of the 5 eligible players or even split TH out and use Thomas on short yardage situations from the WC or use one of the 2 WR's in WC like they sometimes do with Samuel. Not too mention ALL eligible players are very good pass catchers to include Bates imo.
