they said Polumbus is the starting Right Tackle and Chester is the Starting Left Guard and the Redskins are a much different team as in a hell of a lot better then those of past years

Amazing that Ryan puts up the numbers he has the last 2 yrs with all the OL troubles they've had. He's been knocked around quite a bit here lately.

Quinn is looking for depth mostly @ OT to put some pressure on Holmes and Schraeder from the looks of it...Matthews LT, and Baker RT is what I would expect come Sept as both should be close to 100% by then...LG has to be wide open and I wouldn't be shocked to see them bring Blaylock back cheaper.

Guys, you're forgetting who we are. For we are... the Washington Redskins. Chester and Polumbus will have All-Star type years. It's what players do after they leave here, and in return when we sign another teams All-Star they suddenly bust.

right now we are a 6 win team in my opinion and we dont have one spec of reason to talk ourselves up .

in a few years perhaps the depth we are lacking will show up then we can talk

but we have questions at qb , te , health , safety and we will be starting 2 guys on the right side who have about 8 plays of pro experience

Yep - certainly guys like Campbell, McNabb & Haynesworth went on to multiple All-Pro years after they left the Skins. Laron Landry is certainly a future HOFer & certainly has had not PED issues since he left the Redskins.

Reality check - certainly a few players - Rogers comes to mind - have had limited success since leaving the team. However - the bigger issue is not acquiring major talent in the first place. I am hopeful that SM will fix this in time.

BTW - I hope that the Skins do well against the Falcons since that is likely the only Redskins game that I attend next season.

if nothing were to go wrong injury wise and most of the guys we acquired pay off we could win 10 games but that would be fools gold . i expect some injuries and when the hit they always hit the same area so with depth in a few years we can absorb that and be competitive

Yep. I am just looking for improvement & a sense of direction that has been missing for the most part in the recent past. A poor record in itself will not necessarily be that disappointing to me if it also includes players who show significant promise.
