I saw this in Gamestop a couple of months back and almost bought it but didn't because I hadn't seen the gameplay yet. But damn, it looks amazing. I had an F1 game for the PS3 a couple years back and it was awesome. I'm sure this one will be as good, if not better. I'm definitely getting it next time I go to Gamestop.

You have the game? I know they can't make them as realistic as we'd like, but I'm sure it's still fun to play.
I think we can point out flaws in every game we play.

I dont have it but I have played it. Id like to see more realistic damage and physics. Like if 2 wheels touched in the second vid you posted for something to actually happen and not just bump off one another.

Damage mode could have been turned off during that gameplay. The F1 game for PS3 had that option. I didn't use it of course because I wanted it to be as real as possible, and it was easy as hell to break wheels off, wings, and other shit. Maybe I'll have to rent it somewhere before I buy it because I'm concerned about that now after you pointed it out.

Out of Eight PC Game Reviews: F1 2011 Review

The damage model in F1 2011 is very unrealistic: while real F1 cars disintegrate with even the slightest contact with a butterfly, a head-on collision with a wall will only damage your wing and possibly a wheel, instead of transferring all that force to other parts of the car like the suspension or body. Even the results of putting the game on the “full” damage setting are disappointing: I rolled the car three times and received no damage whatsoever.

:(

It'd be nice if the damage relative to the car would also affect the driver. i.e. hit the wall break your foot like Schumacher, slam into like Senna, die.

Was it Massa that had the debris break though his helmet? Shit like that.
