Every State's favorite out of state team

I know for a fact, that the Bengals
are "Kentucky's Team" or at least "Appalachia Kentucky's Team".

Using that logic you would believe that area of Kentucky would root for Bengals, southern area of Kentucky would root for Titans & area near Louisville would root for Colts. Problem is all of those teams have kind of sucked over recent past & are kind of boring so they turn off a lot of fans (though Titans did well last season but are so boring).

I’m not too shocked. I’ve known a handful of 49er fans over the years. They were my favorite NFL team when I was a kid.

With the number of California transplants moving to Oregon and Washington not too surprising

I love when people take offense to this kind of study as if the 50 people they know in a given state represents the entire state.

The only way you can be 100% accurate on a study like this is to poll every person in every state which we all know is impossible. At least this study places some data behind the claim.

It would be first favorite. Why would south dakotans Google the dolphins more than any other team? I don't believe even that to be true. They are about as irrelevant as a team could be here.
