Watched a Bengals camp highlight by James Rypien. McPhearson had the ball sitting at the 45 yard line, which obviously makes that a 55 yard FG. Ball looked dead center, well over the height of the goal posts and traveled probably another 25 to 30 yards past with no net stopping it. Just dumbfounded how strong this kids leg is.

57 Yarder - Good! Kick would not have been good from much further because of how much hook there was on the kick, but distance wise, he could have made it easily from another 10 yards back. Weapon!

He's impressive. And probably still getting better. I think he's a huge weapon - Basically we have a good chance at at least 3 everytime we cross midfield. Also important for end of half/games.

I assume he'll go through some stretches of inconsistency, but the raw talent is pretty amazing. Great use of a 5th rounder.

The game has changed a bit with the XPT being longer and less consistent. A kicker that doesn't miss those crucial PAT's is a massive bonus.
