I've been to 12 of those stadiums. Outside of Seattle, my best experiences were Green Bay and Dallas.

Not sure why Seattle's rank is a surprise.

at #2 I thought it was a shock, only because some other places have much more history. I've been to a ton of Seahawks games and the atmosphere is electric. I would definitely rank it #1 on my list, but I'm a massive homer. The stadium also isn't as flashy as Dallas, LA, or Atlanta for example.

I went to a December game there and it had snowed hard the night before. The game time temp. was in the high teens. I wore three layers of clothes and was still cold. Those metal benches suck out all of your body heat. Was still super fun though.

Personally, I don't think Gillette is as bad this guy thinks. His biggest bitch was traffic in and out. You can tell he ain't from New England or he'd know that smart people don't pay $40 a game for parking and then try to deal with drunk drivers who can't find their way out. There are two major highways up and down the east and west side of Gillette and having to cross Route 1 is a nightmare if you're in the Gillette parking lot. If you know where your going and how you want to get there, you're all set. Price complaints? $5 for a bottle of 20 oz coke and $7 for a hot dog might be a bit steep but it is what it is.

I think it's a little bit of Patriots hate. Very low tradition score. How many other teams out there have been in 10 Super Bowls in the past 20 years?
How many have won their last 8 straight division championship, or 17 out of the last 20? Or went to 7 straight conference championships?
Tailgating? They have a specific parking area with toilet hook ups, water and it starts filling up on Thursday night when they have a Sunday game and Monday on a Thursday game. Yeah especially when they consider that it's still in great condition and only cost $625M and Kraft paid for it from his own piggy bank.

It's not #1 but it's better than #22.

Ranking NFL stadiums 1-28: From Lambeau Leap to D.C. disaster

They rank based on
Atmosphere:
Features:
Traditions:
Tailgating:
Location:
Cost:
History:

I'll let you discover their ranks on your own. I'm very surprised with where Seattle ranked though.

This is probably the first thing I have agreed with you on here on this site. I have been to like 22 different NFL stadiums and to Seattle I think now 4 times having been to each game out that way since the Fail Mary game. I would not rate it #2 at all

I enjoyed my visit to Gillette I parked in a lot a bit away from the stadium and walked awhile to get there. I planned my parking so when I left I could avoid the traffic using back roads to get out.

Well I guess that could get into a long description if i rank them all by the criteria they used.

But my top 2 would be KC, Dallas, and San Fran but that was more because I went with a friend who is a big wig at the Black Oak casino about an hour east of San Fran and he was able to get passes for one of the corporate suites they own and then let customers use. So that was sweet. It was nice there that the suite had no glass to look through it was all open air. At Lambeau they have glass to keep the cold out. Here are some pics. This was the regular season game last year. Once the Pack was behind early we did not really watch much we just partied with the unlimited food and drinks :suds:

damn son, that must have been an absolute blast. And I'm sure the game seemed way too short. I definitely want to go to SF and KC sometime. I've been to candlestick and that was shit. They definitely needed a new stadium.

Yea it was a fun long weekend. I first flew out on the Wednesday before the game to Seattle to visit my daughter and grandchildren. Then caught a 6am flight from Seattle to Santa Clara. The airport it very close to the stadium. Met my friend for breakfast and hung out at a casino near the stadium then got in the suite when the gates opened. The only cost was the flight so it was nice. We were planning to see if my friend could get passes again this year as the Pack play there again because each finished first in their division last year but then the damn Covid came up. The game is not until Nov 5th but my guess is with it being in Cali they will not let fans in the stadium. But if by chance they are letting some fans in it will be pursued to see if the casino is giving out passes. The casino I am guessing is hurting as well.

From now on I will always cheer for the Pack and 49ers to finish in the same place in their division so they play each other every year :pound:

I get the history at Lambeau, but other than that, that stadium sucks. Seattle and SF are both really nice.

I have been to more than half of those stadiums and for me, It is all based on personal preference. I prefer a nice climate-controlled stadium like state farm, although it is indoor, it has an outdoor feel as they play on real grass and the roof opens over the field. Also, the acoustics are crazy loud. Tailgaiting is great there as well.

I'm good with Ford Field being 19. Its a nice stadium but I haven't been to many others or any others for that matter.
