Gurley has all the boxes checked, leadership, running the ball, catching the ball, blocking.

Saquon is going to be great but so far all he leads the league in is getting hit behind the line of scrimmage due to having a bunch of matadors playing in front of him.

I think you can make a case that if you could have any RB in the league, Barkley would be the guy.

Over gurley? No one sane would make that argument

Why not? Awesome all around talent. Rookie contract. Younger/less wear. The Giants are a complete shitshow....and it has nothing to do with Barkley. Gurley is probably the best RB, but that wasn't my point.

How many times have we seen rookie RB's burst onto the NFL scene and play lights out and then do very little afterwards?

Everyone was praising Gurley after his rookie campaign and wrote him off after his sophomore campaign.

Let's give Barkley more than 6 games into his NFL career before proclaiming him the best back in the league.

Can't go wrong with either Gurley or Barkley. You're getting great stuff with both.

And he was literally in tears when Hillary lost, and he said that anyone who voted for Trump was an ignorant racist. No respect for him whatsoever nor does he deserve any.

I've got him 2nd behind Gurley but it's interesting to think how they'd be performing if they switched teams

If I had to play a full season I would take Gurley because I know about his durability and dude can do it all.

....but if I had to play one game, I take Barkley. Barkley is that special. You put him on a team with a good OL and he would be close to unstoppable.

And let not forget when Gurley was in a somewhat similar situation just a couple years ago, he struggled mightily. Struggled to the tune of one of the worst seasons by a RB in the last decade. It is almost impossible to think seeing Gurley now and seeing how easy offense is in the NFL, that just two years ago Gurley had 300+ touches and a 3.2 ypc average.
