ESPN really hyping this Clippers vs Pistons game tonight

My goodness, never seen so much hype for a game between two 9 seeds. I go to their website and instantly am attacked by pop ups showing Blake Griffin changing uniforms. Really cool, so stoked for this game tonight! Nothing makes me more excited than the 57th game in an NBA season between two 9th seeded teams!!!

Also can't wait to see the athlete that is Blake Griffin display his athleticism. Not his basketball skills, because that is debatable if he has that, but pure athletic ability. Such an exciting match up tonight! Going to make sure the TV is one and ready to go! May even set up the DVR just in case I miss tip off.

Lots of hype for a guy that is just super athletic rather than great bball skills. Griffin was a hot commodity 5 years ago. He hasn't done anything in years and he no longer utilizes his athletic ability.

Like LeBron, the guy should just attack the hoop with ever possession.

Griffin has a good jump shot and can handle the ball very well for his size. He always seemed to kill the Suns so I’m glad he’s in the East now.

ESPN trying to get some viewers for tonights blah matchup, and the only storyline they can come up with to make Detroit/LAC interesting is this trade. Don't know why ESPN even is airing this, if they are reaching that far to try and make a Pistrons/Clippers game enjoyable they should probably air something else. I am sure there is some good CBB games they could put on.

Bad games happen.

Cavs have gotten destroyed on National TV several times.

The schedules are made months before the Season.

Months before trades and injuries happen.

Sometimes they drop/add games that are clearly gonna be shitshows.

I don't think this one qualifies as that.

I don't need ESPN to televise Blazers/Kings since I get that game locally.
