We are not going to plunk down $60MM+ for Pence and then hemorrhage up another $75MM for Elsbury.

Agree .... and I'm even hesitant about a 4 year contract. I think we'll do it because that's the time frame that I think Pence is looking for. I'm just not sure he'll take a 4/60 though. I think in a FAmarket he'll get some tem to e near the 4/70 range.

Pence really takes care of himself health wise. All that Kale and health food looks to have done him good. He actually is getting stronger as the season goes on. He is one of the good guys too in sports and deserves the money he will get. He has also become a part of the community in the Bay Area. He is a Giant. He plays the game the right way.
