I know Guice hasn't stepped on the field yet but no way they should be that low

Sounds about right. Guice we expect good things from but he was a late second round rookie. Chris Thompson was looking like a stud, first time in his career last season, but is coming off injury. Will he be the stud he was last season or the average pass catcher he was before that?

I saw some other site that had them 26th out of 32 teams. It is all talk, we'll see when the season starts.

I think we will be a top ten rushing team.

I think we are ranked where we should be because we have proven nothing.

Well the Skins can do their part and slash opposing defenses with a potent running attack, come the season. That'll show the naysayers the what what. Based on the previous years rushing stats, the ranking is what the team has earned. :noidea:

Guice is no ordinary "late second round rookie", as you know gk. He is clearly round 1 talent (with no NFL snaps) but he and Thompson are a capable duo in the top half of the league even w/o DG having taken a snap. That's not homerism either. We all saw what Thompson is capable of and while DG may not be Zeke at the moment, he will have an immediate impact from snap 1.

Mike Shanahan proved years ago you don't need a 1st round RB to be successful. Watching Guice highlight film he does have good feet (quick change of direction) so I am hoping he helps the run game. In the NFL vision and recognition are keys. The hole is rarely where it was designed to be. The reason zone blocking worked so well for Shanahan and other is you move parallel to the line until a hole develops than it is cut and go.

we have proven nothing so bitching about 19 is silly . we can be better then that for sure but until we do it on the field it is what it is

Yea that seems pretty reasonable. We have a 2nd round rookie and a good 3rd down back coming off an injury. That shouldnt put us any higher.
