Nice article. Surprising that for he most part, the comments are rather intelligent and good-natured.

One thing that struck me...

Th Giants have given up the fewest walks in he bigs this year. I think I knew this, but it hit me that is a complete turn around from what appeared to be an organizational strategy just a couple years ago to not lose sleep over walks. We talked about this rather extensively here. The org strategy was to NEVER give in to a hitter, even with 3 balls. Better to give a walk than give up a BIG hit.

Now they are avoiding the walk AND the big hit.
