It's not really their fault. ESPN basically wants to be able to name their price. Which then gets passed on to us.

For the record whomever has ESPN plus will get the games and today would be a good day for a free trial for those that don't.

(And yes I'm aware that's just reinforcing ESPN bad behavior)

Today, Iowa State fans just care about GameDay. We would have been pissed if the Direct TV-ESPN dispute would have rained on our day. That would have been the most Cyclone thing ever! So, we are very happy for the extension. Since the game is on FS1, we don't GAF about the rest of the day on ESPN. I'm heading to Ames right after GameDay ends. Good luck to Sparty today!

We cut DirecTV back in May. We had Cingular cell phones back in the day until AT&T bought them and started raising our prices every month. AT&T bought DirecTV 3 or 4 years ago and had left it alone until earlier this year. When they sent us a notice that some of the channels I watched were no longer going to be carried by them, but not to worry because they were going to raise our prices to not have those channels. So the wife got rid of them in May and got Xfinity. Which is ok, but now I find I watch my firestick for anything other then sports.

Now lets not get started on Disney. My parents just got back from Disney World and go 5 or 6 times a year for 2 weeks at a time. I talked to them as they were driving home and my father told me that this was the last time they would be going. Walt wanted an inexpensive place to take the family, now Di$ney might as well change the logo to a $.
