Eric Reed vs Earl Thomas (Rookie Seasons)

With the Draft tomorrow It got me thinking about last years First Round pick and I was surprised how similar his and Earl Thomas's rookie seasons were, now Reed had a much better Front 7 then Thomas did in his Rookie Season but you have to like what you see and I really think he will be one of the Top safety's in the league for years to come as he gets more accustomed to the pro game.

Reid will be a good one. He is already a pro bowler so he is on his way of being one of the better safety's in the league

Some people suggested he would be better suited as a SS "Thumper" but I think he will do well as a FS he seems to have a knack for playing the ball and has great closing speed and instincts for a rookie. I believe stiff hips were one of his knocks coming out of the draft but he filled in beautifully for Dashon Goldson and was arguably an upgrade to our former pro bowler.

Interesting, and good to know. I echo the concerns about concussions. He played great last year, but as a casual watcher of your team I remembered he got his bell rung and exited the game a few times.
