Well, it still takes a team. Hershiser was 30 when he won and had Fernando. Koafax won it his rookie year but obviously wasn't the main guy on that team or the '59 team. Since '59 he also had Drysdale. We'll see if Greinke steps up. We know what Kershaw will most likely do, I think that the wildcard is Greinke. He'll be the one that pushes us over the top to getting the ring. We can only really afford one lose between them for any given series.
Absolutely no disrespect to either WS MVP, but they were both older when they got it, and had more help in the rotation.
