The Broncos are listening and rightfully so.

Next Tuesday is the deadline.

Possible teams

Panthers
49ers
Patriots
Eagles
Packers

Apparently seeking better then the 4th rd pick that we got from DT which will be tough, IMO... A guy who will become a FA next year and is 32 years old.

I would expect that list of potential players to grow. Chris Harris, Derek Wolfe, and maybe Adam Gotsis. All are probably not returning next year.

Sorry, that is what I meant... The Tuesday after this coming Tuesday. It is a new week so I look at this Tuesday as this Tuesday and next Tuesday as next Tuesday. :)

Wolfe may return on a smaller contract. Gotsis is a healthy scratch. Not sure he has trade value at this point, but if he does then sure.
Harris makes sense. Watch him sign with the Chiefs next year.

I think if we trade Harris his new team works out a new deal with him.

Hard to say... If he comes for a day 3 prospect it won't be a MUST for a team to have a new contract before they trade for him, IMO...

Be much like DT last year, IMO... Trade for him for a playoff run. Might re-sign him in the offseason, might not. But for a day 3 pick it will be something any team needing a CB in the playoff hunt will do without HAVING to lock him up.

Eagles make a ton of sense as a landing spot for him.

Do you think Denver trades Harris for a day 3 pick? I would be surprised if he went for a day 3 pick but if he does I would hope it would be a 4th.

Well we shopped him the day of the NFL draft and the best offer we got was a 5th. Vets with expiring contracts have low value my friend.

I'm not sure teams see it this way, but to me, Sanders is playing at a much higher level than Demaryius Thomas was when we dealt him ..

Sanders still has a lot of fire in his game and he looks quick and elusive ...

This is the first time I can remember that I personally feel more attached to the HC then most any of the players … I think going thru the rebuilding lumps will be a necessary evil as long as Vic is onboard, helping put a team together based on what his vision is ..

Give Munchak a few more pieces, too …

If a Sanders trade helps us in some way get back a kick ass guard -- whether it be with a pick, or, a pick used to move up in the draft -- I'm all for it

You can't help but appreciate the way Sanders plays. You never have to worry about him not giving 100!! I feel like he is also a voice of the fans. :)

Trade wise, he might have a bit better trade value then DT did a year ago, but I doubt it is much more.. Similar situations.

Dream trade: Sanders and Flacco to SF for Mullens and a pick.

That would be a nice trade.

Why are you wanting to trade for Mullens? No faith in Lock?

At this point I would rather see what we have in Lock the trade for Mullens.

Trading Flacco is a nice dream. And a nightmare for any team trading for him. And 31 GMs know that.

Mullens knows Scangarello's offense and played pretty well in it when given the opportunity. It's not that I don't believe in Lock, it's that I don't think he's ready to start. Kid looked raw in the preseason.

Bring in Mullens and let the offense start to move forward while Lock continues to learn the NFL game.

Id take Mullens or Beathard with the hopes Lock is our starter but it makes sense. SF would never take on Flacco’s contract as a backup so it won’t happen but from our end it does.

As much as I’d hate to see He-Mannuel Sanders leave it makes sense to try to get something for him because we know he’s not gonna sign with us next year.

Does this also mean we will get 6 or so million of his contract back in the kitty to resign players or roll over into next year?

I also hope this means that Chris Harris is a Bronco for life.Since we are not trading him.
