Anybody need a guy who can't skate, has stone hands, and couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag?

Today's you gotta be kidding me moment is awarded to Tom Renney - From the article in puck's post...

He's everything that a coach wants in terms of his character, his coachability," Renney said of Stortini. "He's a great teammate, he's tough, he's got terrific hockey sense."

That's got to go up there with our friends "the defensive powerhouse" and "Kyle Sveltewood"...

On the Oilers, that mean he can tie his own skates if you give him enough time.

that "display" against Kris Barch a couple of weeks back must have finally opened some organizational eyes

he cant really skate, he cant pass , he can't score, I guess he provides some energy sometimes, but he cant fight ... why waste a roster spot when you have a nuclear deterrent like Steve MacIntyre who can step in and dress when you anticipate a rough or dirty game ... if Macintyres not enough, ditch the smurf agenda and draft some guys with size that can play

in the meantime, just let the kids play

I don't think that statement is farfetched. Souray seems to break his hand quite often duriing fights.

its far-fetched with respect to the fact Souray doesnt play for the oilers farm team in Oklahoma city ;)
