I'm more concerned about kicking than the defense to be honest - the kicking cost them the playoff game against the Saints and Alex Henery also missed a kick the other night

I'm glad the Eagles are looking at help at kicker but I'm not sure the guy they got is any type of positive answer - there isn't a veteran kicker available who's decent enough? That's how the Saints got Shayne Graham

Possibly, but I don't know how much they could legitimately push him by bringing in this new guy - I don't see how this new guy could even replace him so in all honesty I don't know if this is really a matter of pushing him when it doesn't seem like there's any chance of replacing him

If they brought in more of a veteran, then yes, that would be pushing him for sure - I'm just not sure about that in this case

How? David Fluellen was 4th on the depth chart, at best - it was obvious that he wasn't going to make the roster and they figured that with both teams putting players on waivers, they would just swap them and see what they have - this isn't a bad move - it won't be a game changing move imo but it's not a huge risk at all
