Good signing IMO. The guy has made a pro bowl before and is a solid player. I suspect he plays MLB for us this season, or one of the LB spots, alongside Nigel Bradham and Kamu Grugier-Hill.

There is the signing at LB that was expected. Not a bad signing at all!

OK....even happier now that I read up on it some. Love that the Redskins signed him 3yr/$24M last year, then cut him to make cap space and we get him for 1yr/$3M.

He was rated very highly on coverage and solid tackling the last few years. This could really be a steal for us!

I thought the Birds were fine at LB without him, Worrilow is now healthy, Fort was a nice free agent role add, Kamu has gotten better every year and rookie FA TJ Edwards ... but matching Brown with Bradham is certainly an upgrade. We seldom play 3 LB'ers at one time, so I figure Fort will be in there in the nickel.

He is 6'2" 248 lbs., and has good speed. A "no-brainer" who will be here this year, and maybe beyond. I am sure we will draft a young stud next year. Critics blasted the Eagles for not drafting a LB, even though we only had 5 picks + Lurie wanted to draft a QB. Better to sign a FA proven LB that is a good player than a rookie that may not even stick. I like the move.

Reading up on him, he got benched late last season and some fans say he got caught freelancing too much in coverage and burned. So that may be part of the reason why he was still on the market. But we only play MLBs for two downs anyway, and if he can give us solid run support against the likes of Zeke Elliott, Derrius Guice and Saquon Barkley while TJ Edwards hopefully develops, great. I see this as a great move because it introduces real competition at MLB and if he doesn't fit, as Rey noted, we have other options.
