I'm....not worried about this signing. Between Mailata and Landon Dickerson Philly is finally adding some talented youth to the line. I suspect we will see Dickerson at LG in the next few weeks.

I think he is already the most physically dominant LT in the game. It's a sham he missed 2 weeks due to a knee injury and then was struggled a little in his return when they switched him to RT for a few games while Lane was AWOL. Otherwise I think he'd be a shoe-in for All Pro this year.

Baldy knew, just like me, back when Mailata was a rookie playing football and learning football for the first time in his life. And he has come so far in just 4 years, learning under Jason Peters a Hall of Famer who really took him under his wings to help teach him along with best offensive lineman coach in the league Jeff Stoutland. He is only 24 years old. Only in his first season as a starter and already he is playing at a dominant All-Pro level. He is going to be fucking amazing when he eventually reaches his full potential in 3-4 years. He could end up being an all time great easily if he stays healthy.

Mailata still gives up more sacks and pressures than I would like, but he can be an absolutely dominant player at times, especially in the run game. He is a giant dude who can run and has actual athleticism.
