Yeah, I was worried, but I picked 24-20. Now - we beat the giants next Mon. night, and Dallas loses to the Saints, we will be tied for 1st - amazing!

1. The Eagles play Washington.
2. Technically, Dallas would still be in 1st.

Giants fan base want Shumur fired for not using the red hot Barckley in the 2nd half. He destroyed them in the 1st half!

Yes, you're correct, but at this stage, the way this season has gone, I'll take it, and know that we have a good shot at the division.

Listen up, turkeys. The Saints will demolish the Boys in Dallas this Thursday.

Embarrassed by this beating, they'll travel to Philly the following week where the rejuvenated Eagle defense and revitalized Wentz will catch Dallas flat and knock them on their asses. Dallas stinks. I'm calling it! :suds:

season lives on to see another day

amazing what happens when you just run the ball

yep! wentz only threw the ball 28 times and we wound up with 25 points. took a few sacks, but the risk of an int or fumble were limited. the passing game opened up a bit in the 2nd half, the eagles controlled the clock and the giants drifted into panic mode (even with the lead.)

complete opposite from the 1st half when the giants just sat on passing plays like every other team does now. it was shocking to even see the run on both 2 point conversions. this is what happens when you put the effort into smashing a team at the line and keeping their offense off the field.

adams has clearly shown he's talented. how much is unknown, but easily more so than clement or smallwood. he was able to pick up 84 yards and had a 52 yarder called back on a cheesy kelce hold. he continues to break free for big gains. great to see him get 22 touches. this 100% needs to continue for the rest of the season.

I honestly did not watch. Just checked the highlights. The running game stood out to me. Clement finally looked to have some pop at some points. But it just feels Carson won’t be 100% this year. That hurts us.

I was going to say I believe the redskins defense can do better to counter our run game, then I looked it up, and the Skins have actually given up much more running yards than the Giants.

Maybe if we can get a little help from injury back in the secondary we stand a shot Monday night.

And at least that’s makes for something interesting at this point.

Is it Carson or is it the lack of stud WR's?
Even the announcer said yesterday that they need a deep threat.

It's not Carson or the receivers. Not even remotely close. It is the coaching staff and the inability to come up with a game plan to actually works. The key point is the second half of the game yesterday. They made it heavy run and it worked because the Giants actually HAD TO respect the running game. Up until then the Giants had 8 in the box playing pass only.

Not having a deep threat is an issue. If you are going to run a passing offense you need to spread the field and that is something we do not do because we do not have any speed on the outside. So no team will be forced to keep a safety deep.
