Right through his hands. Well, they went further than I expected at the beginning of the season. Congratulations Saints fans. Hope your team gets to the Super Bowl.

what a horrible coaching decision to snap it right at 2:01. paid the price.

Absolutely! We did not have to worry about the clock ... we actually needed to bleed it so Brees wouldn't have any time if/when we scored. How Pederson/Foles snapped that ball at 2:01 was shocking to me. Alshon obviously blew it thus causing the INT, but that play should have never been snapped!

It was exiting to see the Eagles go as far as they did. Plus the defense did a good job today.

the same issues that plagued this team the entire season came back to haunt them today

poor playcalling
poor QB play (INT's)
poor secondary play (Brees first TD pass where Corner was completely turned around and had no clue where ball was)

they needed to play just about perfect football and did so for 1 quarter, then wheels came off

some fucked up PI no calls hurt, but you can't score 14 points on road and expect to win a playoff game

proud that the team atleast turned around an almost shitshow season and got another playoff win before bowing out, but now its finally time to get some more fucking talent on this roster

Running Back, Cornerback, linebacker..............i can't stress how badly they need talent in these spots

if they can make those right moves for the above and either bring Foles back and start him, or have Wentz 100% healthy, they should regain the division and hopefully better playoff positioning

If we move on with Wentz, Doug needs to address to Wentz by getting rid of the ball quickly. Foles operates smoother with the offense than Wentz, but Wetz can do some wonders in this offense if he can learn this. Anyway, great season and we did better than I expected. Injuries suck, but it is what it is. Now for the draft. As much as I hate Sean Peyton, I half to root for my Buckeyes on that team. Ginn, Lattimore, Apple, Bell, and I know I'm missing at least one or two more.

team needs a real running back

they got away fantastic run blocking and marginal talent like smallwood, Adams and sproles is definitely not a between tackles RB

though once again Pedersons playcalling was shit. Eagles were arguably in control of that game for 2.5 quarters, were never down more than 6 pts and yet ran the ball 14 times

14 times

it's so frustrating and you just have to hope partial reasoning is the lack of talent

if they intend on going into 2019 season with same trio (swap Clement for sproles) then they will set themselves up for failure

If you look at the replay, Foles didn't hit him in stride. It was a difficult catch, but yes, he usually catches those.
playing with broken ribs according to players. crazy they were even this close to going to another NFCCG.

Yeah I'm a homer for him. He usually makes that catch and I feel bad for him having that drop on his conscience.

Damn.

Love Alshon. He might be my next jersey. It’s a shame the guy with the best hands on the team is the one who dropped such a critical pass. Fuck.

I wonder if that missed catch had to do with his bad shoulder from a previous injury? Jeffrey is a pretty reliable receiver and he doesn't miss those. Just curious?
