I'll try to house all of my questions here this off season. Others can feel free to use as well

    4 plyr keeper, standard
    Best options
Brees, round 7-9ish, can't recall (full pt for passing 1st downs!)
Kamara, 1st round pick or best available
    CMC, 2nd round pick
OBJ, 1st rd or best available (3rd if I keep Kamara and cmc)
    Michel, 7th-9th area as well
Lindsay, 17th rd or worst available
    K Allen 1st round

Leaning Lindsay Michel Kamara CMC right now, then draft WR heavy, or go OBJ over lindsay or Michel, but feel like those are my best options right now

    And 2nd question:

    Full ppr dynasty
Trade michel and late 1st for K Allen

Could possibly tweak this deal a bit but no clue what or where'd it go without going into full details, and I just want a gut reaction to this initial thought

for the trade... that seems very lopsided... would much rather have he michel side...

    as for your keepers,

the hard part is about lindsay... his injury and lack of team "worth" scares me... especially when the rest of your options are so good...

i would probably simply just keep Michel, OBJ, CMC, Kamara...

Can you keep Michel and draft OBJ?
Milk brings up a good point about Lindsay though.........if Freeman improves over last year they could be a 50/50 split.

BTW, can you start 4 RB? If so, I'm keeping the 4 RB and drafting WR heavy (just like you said).

I think you have to keep Kamara, CMac and OBJ for your 1, 2, and 3. You can't beat that, imo. Michel vs Lindsay is the debate. I lean towards Lindsay, but I couldn't knock taking Michel over him. Great value and he is probably better long term.

Doubt I could draft Beckham back if I let him go and don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick

Can start 3 RBs (2 + flx), 10 team league, so RB is king, WRs a plenty

Yeah, I was mixing yer league up with mine where you have to keep a 1st and 2nd..........lol. You MIGHT be able to redraft Allen though....when do teams have to declare?

EDIT: That Lindsay value would be hard to give up but Michel in the 7th-9th is pretty damn good too. Would like to see what changes the Pats make though in the off season. IIRC Michel was a good pass catcher in school..........be nice if they gave him more looks in the passing game.

if you don't keep OBJ, then you shouldn't keep Kamara... they are a package deal IMO...

I think he should keep OBJ,

But I strongly disagree with this.

Kamara is a young stud. If Ingram walks he is just as good a PPR back as CMAC.

Pair those 2 and you have a ridiculous start to your team. No way you throw Kamara back in the pool. Just no way.

Unless you have the first overall pick.

OBJ isn't without risk. As good as he is, he has been injured a few times and the Giants have one of the worst QB situations in the entire league. There is a scenario where dropping OBJ might be an option. Not Kamara. Not ever.

no, the point was that Kamara is a first round pick... first round meaning, you would likely get him or someone comparable back... really no harm... But the strength of keeping Kamara is that now OBJ is a third round pick... that is huge...

But if you are not going to keep OBJ, then don't you want options with your first pick???

If I had an early pick and many high quality late keeper options?

    Maybe.

But keeping Brees in rounds 7-9 doesn't move the needle for me. So no.

Also, Kamara is a top 6 overall pick if Ingram resigns. If he walks? You can make a case for #1. Most if not all of the players typically drafted in his area code are sure to be kept (Gurley, Barkley, Zeke, CMAC, Hopkins, Connor, Adams, Hill, Mixon).

Which means that you aren't keeping your options open, you are downgrading (perhaps massively) so you can keep a 40 year old QB in round 8.

Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense.

that brings us to another question: Do you need to keep 4???

Again, i never said dont keep Kamara... I said that if you keep kamara then you are keeping ODB, and vice versa... as they are a package deal.. and said that he should be keeping both...

but i guess, if you must keep 4 then i can see your point, since Brees is no longer a keeper... and by not keeping those 2 he would only have 3 legit keepers...

I'll let everybody else focus on the keeper question and I'll go to work on the dynasty question because I have more intimate knowledge of the rosters involved here :) You are very strong at running back and don't have near the depth at wide receiver, and with the full PPR, Allen would be a great compliment to Juju and Evans, but you won the league with the team you have now and none of your guys are very old. Plus, I'm also not sold on Conner and Lindsay being the studs they were this year. Conner getting hurt is scary especially since you don't own Samuels and I'm just not sure that Lindsay can keep up his YPC and touchdown rate. You have the Minnesota running backs no matter what, but I'd rather have that depth at running back. So, I'd probably stick with Michel because right now you are the only team that has 4 good NFL running backs and you might never be able to get that kind of depth back. Believe me, we tried all year to trade for a running back and couldn't, but you do have a better relationship with everybody than we do.

have to keep at least 2, 4 is the max
if you keep the same guy more than 1 season in a row, you have to give up your best available pick
Free agents value = your worst available pick

Absolutely zero chance I get Kamara or CMC back if I let them go, they'll get snapped up immediately within the 1st few picks.

quick history: kept Kamara, Odell, Ertz, and D Henry at cheap values last yr, took K Allen and CMC with my 1st 2 picks, they were like the 3rd and 4th overall picks after keepers though

I'm leaning Michel over Lindsay now. Nasty 4some that should be great for years.

This is what has me leaning 'NO' on that deal.
Not sure I see an avenue that involves me acquiring a Michel-type RB, via draft or trade, unless I were to get extremely lucky somehow. (if I were to trade away Michel)

I've had the exact same experience as you when talking about RB trade values in this one, people are still in love with 'their guys' from last year's startup draft.
I've poked around several backup types and still get the run around/lack of interest unless I'm willing to overpay.

How come it's not the same rules for Allen as for OBJ?

Allen was better, has a top stable QB situation, and the injury prone-ness is a wash.

if you are referring to the keeper rules, OBJ was a keeper from previous season so he cost my best available pick, and Allen was my 1st round pick last yr, so his cost = 1st round pick this year.

if you just meant top level, why OBJ over Allen, I think it comes down to team distribution for me.
I think Rivers will regress a little bit next season, more mouths to feed with the emergence of Mike Williams and Hunter Henry recovery.
Back to Rivers - we don't often see a QB have his most efficient season combined with top QB stats in the league at 38+ yrs old. I just don't think he'll repeat

AND unlike Rivers, Eli and the giants qb situation can’t get worse.
