To his credit, he had some nice games down the stretch to keep the Heat afloat in the playoff race. But unfortunately (for him), it was not meant to be this year.

At the end of the day, his self-absorbed collusion tactics may have destroyed our league's integrity to the point of no return. Hopefully come next season LeBron and Korver will be the only remaining members of that ego-driven '03 draft class. (Though to be truthful, I would be more than happy with just Korver. :heh:)

Wade was spoiled to death spending his career in Miami, accustomed to getting his way all the time. So much so that as soon as he arrived in Chicago with the Bulls where his surroundings weren't so peachy - He felt free to bitch about his teammates. What a great guy.

Good riddance, D-Wade - You won't be missed!

I am not going to celebrate another man's career ending. I am sure it was an emotional one and Wade was a good player in his prime. If Bosh had remained healthy, I think Miami could have remained contenders a few more years. I do, however wish the best of luck to Dwayne Wade in his future endeavors. He was a little delusional for possibly thinking he was better then Kobe Bryant in his prime, but that was not unusual

I am. But in a positive way.

He had an amazing career. He accomplished a tremendous amount on the court and somehow managed to do even more good off of it. Wade's career deserves to be celebrated.

Considering he is the 3rd best SG of all-time it isn't too delusional. I would call it way more delusional Pierce thought he was better than Wade.

And he wasn't a good player in his prime, he was pretty damn great. Those 5 years before the injuries started piling on he was very dominate in the playoffs basically averaging 28 6 and 6 for those years, one being a championship with Shaq where he was easily the best player on the court.

I dont consider Wade above Kobe, but yes, he is up there. I agree, and LMAO at Pierce

I don't think anyone would consider him above Kobe, not even his greatest fans.

1) Jordan
2) Kobe
3a) Wade
3b) Drexler

I don't either but Wade in his prime was underrated by most imo

agree.

The difference between Kobe and Wade was longevity at the top.

Wade's best years were every bit as good as Kobe's best, IMO. Kobe just had like twice as long a span of super elite production.

I expect he was - I knew he was one of the best in the NBA, I just didn't buy into it when Shaq said Wade was better then Kobe except for the passing- Kobe was more a ball stopper then he was at passing. That's the one thing the griped me
