The guy is a headcase. Why on earth are you even in a strip club when its basically playoff week? He must think Smith is healthy and he will play Sunday so he doesn't give a shit anymore about this year.

Or he is an idiot kid with way too much money and time on his hands...?

This is unprecedented but who is on the hook for the guaranteed money if someone signs him as a backup?
WFT. Since he cleared waivers his old contract is no longer in play. Even if he were picked up off waivers WTF would more than likely be responsible for any remaining guarantees.

Ok, I can’t remember which dude is was on ESPN who insinuated that if someone picked him up they would be responsible for 4 million and change the next two years because Haskins had no shot at a second chance until he was 25. Could have heard it wrong but that is what I got from it.

Looks like his 2021 and 2022 base salary is 4.2 per year, so yes any team who claimed him off of waivers would be on the hook for that.

The interesting part is the way I'm reading it is his 2021 and 22 salary was fully guaranteed, so now that he cleared waivers the WFT still owes that money to him. I'm sure there will be a legal battle over it.

I doubt the skins win (if they even bother)
If they wouldnt have started him before cutting him. It might have been interesting. Still think they would have lost, but wouldnt have been as confident.

I don't think they bother either, but it's quite possible especially with Snyder.
