One of the best pass rushers of this era and a first ballot hof. A well deserved retirement indeed.

Loved his few years in Denver. Nothing but a class act and true leader/mentor to the younger guys. Von Miller is not the player he is today without Ware coming to the Broncos. Enjoy retirement as you have earned it big time.

I thought he had more in the tank, but he is the one who knows his body and the risks of the NFL can affect a persons' future. One of the great pass rushers of his time.

If he really wanted to I think he could play another couple of years. Is the wear and tear worth it though has to be the question for every player every year. For Ware what does he have left to prove so might as well go out now and go enjoy the rest of his life.

I could easily see an analyst role in his future.

Just knowing what he did here in Denver of taking the time to mentor players and even some of the coaches I would think coaching would be more right up his alley. Now maybe he doesn't want to commit to the grind of all the hours that coaches put in but coaching wise I think he would be an upgrade for every single organization right now.

Always was a big Ware fan... felt he flew under the radar to some degree. I remember when SoCal douche nozzles were trying to argue Merriman was better than Ware... everyone on the ESPN boards with a brain were laughing their asses off.

I pray to God he replaces Irvin/Aikman in terms of announcing. Seems like a well spoken man.

One of the few players that seems to have the respect of every fan base even rival fans. Just shows not only did he do it right on the field but he lived well off of it too.
