It‘s International Women’s Day today. In many countries around the world, including the one I’ve been to over 100 times, today is a major holiday.

It was started in 1908 to protest factory conditions in NYC. So the question is, why is today a major holiday in other countries and not here?

So here’s a tip from your senior citizen - go buy your lady flowers today and greet her with a “Happy Women’s Day, of all the wonderful women in the world, you are the bestest!”

This is easy - in the United States women are screwed literally and figuratively, and the latter of the two is not right.
