Likely a 3-way trade hinging on us getting Love, Orlando getting Lee, and Minnesota getting Thompson.

I'm still not sold on losing Thompson, as much as I wanna get Lee off this team.

I don't want to lose Thompson either. If Love really wants to be a Warrior (and who knows at this point) he has a huge amount of leverage to make it happen. You would think he can make it happen in a way that will also help his intended team conserve assets, by making it clear who he will and won't resign with. Hard to believe any team will surrender assets for someone who won't resign with them.

I understand the logic for letting Lee go; I just hate to mess with the Curry-Lee chemistry. Why mess with something that works already? Our starting five is great; bench depth to me is more of a higher priority, since that is our major weakness. That is where we need to focus IMHO.

In fact..If Phil can't work a deal to bring in KLove, he needs to have Lee's agents' # handy.

I will agree with this Lee was the best Knick in the last 20 years.

Agreed. You don't get rid of your second most valuable piece just to get rid of him.
