Q: Will Steve Downie be resigned?

Based on his play when healthy, I have to think not.
His turnovers lead to two goals against TB. He is scratched today in favor of Rosehill today.

What do you think?

Please no. He was awesome in November. Then he got hurt...

I want Kulemin with Couturier and Read. If he can't be signed, give it to Akeson.

I like the strategy of frustrating the Pens into committing penalties. I think we really used that to our advantage as the period progressed and I think the Flyers will continue it in the second.

He is gone. Ive been upset with his play.
Gives the puck away a lot and hasnt scored at all.

He is also injury prone with concusion issues.

His turnovers the other night really started to turn the tables as far as whether I think he should be back or not - his head just isn't screwed in straight - he just seems lost overall

He can be effective at times but I honestly believe that he's not 100%. Either way why resign him when you have Laughton most likely making the team next year. Plus I'd rather have Rinaldo in the lineup on the 4th line....

I see no need for Downie next year. Though I do want more of a banger with coots and read. They seem to play better with that. Though, they looked real good with Raffl today.

Raffl was okay but I'd like to see Laughton on that line as he does it all. He would make that checking line even more impressive...

Raffl has played great all year, playing mostly out of position on a different line each game, very impressive kid and it's obvious he's a first or second liner with the skill he possesses. gotta give him credit for playing 100% no matter what position or line they put him on, he makes his presence known. I expect alot from him next year, hopefully on the second line.

Id like to see laughton take on downie's spot next year also. They play similiar types of games and we can save some money with that switch.

Raffl is the ultimate team player getting bounced to many different position and many different line mates and still plays well and is a lot stronger than i expected.
