Just curious. Figured you’d know since he has no affiliation whatsoever to UCF.
AAF reached out to Kaepernick, Tebow to no availhe'd probable turn it down to keep his Martyr status...
I read he wanted 20 mil from the AAF
I’m not sure about San Diego’s scholarship situation but I’m pretty Kaep is out of eligibility. Can San Diego sign him? Great running game but really need a QB.

I’m making fun of the fact that they have a professional football thread in the college boards. I figured asking about the scholarship situation would be the tip off.I don't see where the AAF requires college eligibility? (honest question, I've just seen broadcasts of a couple of games).
The closest thing I can see on it is
So I'm not sure what his college eligibility has to do with this?
- Teams have 52 players on each roster, with some selected by a territorial draft.[24] The territory assigned to a team consists of at least five colleges plus designated professional teams, one Canadian Football League, and four NFL teams (players from colleges outside the AAF footprint being allocated based on their most recent professional team). Only one quarterback can be taken from their region.[25] A quarterbacks-only "Protect or Pick" draft was conducted in November 2018 in which teams may retain their allocated quarterback or select an unprotected quarterback from another team.[26]
He got an offer and is demanding to be paid more than whole teams. They have a strict $250k per player.Of course he does and likely a pretty high offer. The AAF wants to be an alternative to the NFL or at least an offseason alternative. He would be the most famous player in the league. Like him or hate him people will watch. Whether they hope he will fail or hope he will succeed. People will watch.
Ahhh I see. I did not realize they had a massively low ceiling salary cap. Then NO lolHe got an offer and is demanding to be paid more than whole teams. They have a strict $250k per player.
It’s not meant to be an alternative to the NFL but more to get players a chance to get back into the NFL. If he really wanted a chance to go back to the NFL, that is his only option really. Other than that, he has been gone for over two years and he was declining rapidly before that. He needs to prove himself to still be capable of playing before any team would take a risk over shelling out money for that PR nightmare.Ahhh I see.
