Does the rest of the team know this?"It was very important for me to get back out there," he said. "It's my team and no one else's team. For me, it's about establishing a rhythm for when we play Texas A&M and Colorado."
A week after gaining 453 yards, Kansas managed just 87 yards and five first downs. Quinn Mecham was sacked six times.

LOL.......I like his way of thinking there, but I don't know if I would have said that in front of the media.
Also, Martinez wasn't the reason we won the game last night.........the defense was.
LOL......Zac Lee is like the robot that we throw out there when we just need a guy to snap the ball and hand it off. I really wasn't thinking about him so much........I love the guy for his character and for being a great team guy.......but I was referring more to guys that lead the defense, which ultimately in my opinion is the heart of any real championship team.
Now I will say, Taylor keeping that mindset moving forward is a very good thing for this team......it's great to know that he has that mindset, I just don't want any of his teammates to think "alright, well then I guess we're just the piss-ons beneath this star QB"
That 2000 OU game still upsets me.
^ Yes sir that would be the reason.
