Bad move, no doubt.

But, it is not the reason the Rays lost the game.

They lost the game because their bats struck out versus bullpen scrubs. (16 total Ks).

Every talking head will kill Cash, and completely ignore how pathetic the Rays bats were all night long.
All you have to is look at the era for both teams tonight,. The Rays played really well tonight, but faced off with the Dodgers best pitchers in this last game. A one run game usually ends with a loss and simply wont cut the mustard

Statistically, a 1-run game only ends in a loss 50% of the time.

I was actually good with how he handled the pitchers. He sent Kershaw out for the 6th (which I'm usually against), but Kershaw was dealing. Bringing him out for the 7th would have been a mistake, imo. Kershaw's e.r.a. after the 5th inning was 7.83 going into the game.

Its pretty wild that the 2020 WS was the first ever playoff series where Kershaw's won 2 games.

I didn't pay a lot of attention to the Red Sox, but I knew Mookie was a good leadoff guy which the Dodgers needed.

I had no idea how good he really is. I've just been amazed at him all year.

The Dodgers were already pretty fun to watch cuz they really can hit up n down the line up, but Mookie really added another dimension.

Justin Turner tested Positive for Covid. Does this mean that everyone involved with the series has to be quarantined? I hope nothing but the best for him, his family, his teammates and their families. This is a potential "superspreader" event. How did he get the virus inside the bubble?

I'm not enthusiastic about the theory. Personally, I would've left him in, but Cash's move probably works out better if he had brought in someone who hadn't been struggling so badly. That said, if it weren't for that wild pitch, the Dodgers probably don't even score that inning. That was such a huge play.
I get the theory and the use of analytics, but you can run it solely on numbers. What Cash should have done when the numbers said switch him was go to the mound and actually see how Snell felt. As a Dodgers fan I'm glad it happened, but he should have at least left him in for the rest of the inning, up until that point Snell had held Betts, Seager, and Turner to nothing.
