do you guys compare new vs old?

Do you guys find yourself comparing the new guys with some of the greats?

I find myself doing this with the next Shawn Michaels with some of these upcoming stars.

Thought maybe John Morrison was going to be the next Michaels.

Then I look at guys like Fandango and Adam Rose, as their gimmicks are somewhat like how Michaels was starting out.

I don't compare them simply because the product is so different and the audience landscape can never compare to how it was. And I don't mean the audience bit in a negative way, just that it isn't possible to go back to a pre internet / pre Monday Night Wars mindset where the audience isn't so jaded like it has become in modern "big time" pro wrestling.

Then again, I o longer avidly watch wrestling - not even a bit - so maybe my opinion doesn't matter as much as someone who doggedly keeos up with everything.
