Do the Mariner hitters lead MLB in called strikes?

Seriously, how many times have we seen a hitter take a pitch that is dead red, straight down the heart of the plate, and then swing at the next pitch that is a breaking ball low and outside? Seager, Zunino and Haniger are the worst culprits.

Surprisingly they are towards the bottom of the league in Ks but also bottom of the barrel in BB%

Yeah, that's good data. Thanks. I'm more interested in where they rank in 'called' strikes, strikes charged to them that they did not swing at. It really drives me nuts with Haniger and Zunino. Haniger could be a .300 hitter if he improved his plate discipline just a little bit. And Zoo could be at least a .240-.250 hitter.

They are 15th at Z-swing % (pitches swung at in the zone) and 2nd in Z-contact % (contact made on pitches swung at inside the zone). Not sure if that's kind of what you are looking for. I actually expected lower on those like you because its not a team that walks a lot.
