9 year veteran recovering from a torn pectoral muscle from a tackle, he only cost 1.5 million last year, I doubt he gets many offers.
If things dont work out for our squad he will probably be available in august.

Yup, he should come cheap, has an upside but if he isn't back 100% and motivated then no big loss. Word on the street is, he's real close to inking a Bear deal for next season.

Well, the news isn't official (I think we all have learned our lesson about that over the past 24 hours), but it does appear DJ will indeed stay.

Good signing. He came for 900K last season, and that was prior to his torn pectoral in week 6 that ended his season. I suspect something similar, but an ever so slightly lower number.
